Refund Policy

When Booky refunds a booking, how much, and how long it takes.

This policy explains when you get your money back, and how quickly.

1. The consultation's own policy decides

Every consultation displays a cancellation policy before you book — flexible, moderate or strict. That policy governs your booking. You can see it on the consultation page and on your confirmation.

2. Cancelling

Cancel from your account, under Bookings. You will see immediately what refund applies before you confirm the cancellation.

3. When we always refund in full

• The practitioner cancels, or cannot honour the appointment.
• The practitioner does not show up.
• A technical fault on our side prevented the booking from going ahead.
• You were charged twice for the same booking.

4. Deposits

Where an consultation takes a deposit, the deposit follows the same cancellation policy as the rest of the booking unless the consultation says otherwise.

5. How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Card refunds typically clear in 5–10 working days depending on your bank; we release them within 2 working days of approving the refund.

6. Disputes

If you think a refund was handled wrongly, email hello@booky.com with your booking reference. We will look at it and reply within 5 working days.
